Kite Fishing

The weather was a lot cooler than it has been for a while down here.  We aren't used to it yet, so yes, 75 degrees feels cool. I'm sure some of you that live further up north would be happy to have that temp, especially the ones who have been without power for a while. Hang in there!

The wind was really busy blowing today so the boys hung out with the neighbor boy and flew kites.  I tried, but the sudden stopping of wind makes it difficult to keep the kite up.  Major fail.  Well, not only are my sons genius', but they are creative.  My one son figured that if the kite was going to keep falling and he would have to keep getting it, he wanted to do less work.  Such is the invention.  Kite fishing.  Yes, he asked me if he could use his fishing rod to fly his kite.  I didn't quite understand that at first, but after watching him for a few minutes it looked pretty good.  Hooray for little brains that work.
